BASIC MATERIAL CHARACTERIZATION

A series of tests dedicated to the characterization of material properties are available to assess the metal compliance to datasheet specification or investigate specific metallurgical aspects.

  1. Chemical analysis;
  2. Hardness test (Rockwell, Micro-Vickers);
  3. Tensile test;
  4. Light Microscope Investigation;
  5. TEM and S-TEM investigation with high-resolution TEM (200kV);
  6. SEM and EDS microanalysis;
  7. Evaluation of residual stresses by X-ray diffraction;
  8. Industrial Computed Tomography X-ray scan.
