INVESTIGATION ON METAL CORROSION AND GREEN HYDROGEN PRODUCTION

Green hydrogen production is obtained through water electrolysis powered by renewable energy.

An electrolyzer system is composed of a metal-electrode assembly in which the water-splitting reaction takes place.

Several tests can be performed to characterize and search for improvements for the components of the system.

Electrochemical tests also provide the means for predicting metal corrosion behaviour and protection properties of coatings exposed to the electrolyte.
